Registration is now open for Mobile Learning Experience 2011. The registration deadline is March 1, 2011, but the conference is expected to sell out before the deadline. The registration fee is $995. Compared to other conferences, this may seem costly. However, registration includes:
- a room at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Phoenix for two nights
- over two dozen different breakout sessions over the course of three days

The conference team looked into many venues for mobile 2011 and the Hyatt Regency Downtown met the criteria in size, availability, proximity to the airport, hospitality, and internet capacity.
The conference team, presenters, and the Arizona K12 Center are not making a profit from Mobile Learning Experience 2011. The event is a volunteer effort and every dollar of the registration goes into the venue, catering, materials, and logistics. There is no other conference in the United States like the Mobile Learning Experience, so you won’t want to miss out on this incredible event!

Is it possible to attend for a reduced rate if we don’t need the overnight accommodations? I work for a school district in Phoenix and our group would not need to stay at the hotel.

If two attendees want to share a room, would that lower the price? If not, does that means each individual attending the conference gets his or her own room?

Yes, each conference registration includes a room, so each attendee has private accommodations. The Arizona K12 Center is able to get a reduced rate at the Hyatt. Sharing a room would not be a significant savings, so mobile2011 is not offering lower prices for sharing a room.
